2024/05/22 - Hailers Developing In West Central Oklahoma

5:40 AM CDT | May 22, 2024 - Right on schedule and where they had been frequency pulsing off and on for FOUR hours Monday morning... Convection has developed a long I-40 in West Central Oklahoma. This activity is already likely producing pea to dime-size hail and larger is expected as storms mature. North of the boundary, Large Hail will be the main hazard with a low Damaging Wind threat. Along and south of the boundary, all hazards will be possible.

10:00 PM CDT | June 17, 2025 - Multiple Tornado Warnings and Severe Thunderstorm Warnings are ongoing right now. 7:55 PM CDT | June 17, 2025 -   Going forecast looks good this evening. Primary area for Severe Weather over the next couple of hours will be in far Northern Oklahoma, where I have outlined in Red.  LIVE BLOG 3:10 PM CDT UPDATE - An area of agitated cumulus clouds is noted on satellite along the frontal boundary. Development will become increasingly likely over the next 1-2 hours along this boundary as well as near the surface to the northeast of the highlighted area. First Long-Range Tropical Prediction Of The Season

10:00 PM CDT | June 23, 2025 - You heard it here first... Elevated risk for tropical activity in the Gulf of Mexico beginning the third week of July. This period will continue into the first few days of August. This is based on the cycling weather pattern which set up last fall. I will have more on this in the coming days. Stay tuned.
